Growing Up
Kids change and grow so much and so quickly. A sampling of Finn’s tball photos from the last three years.

His first year at age 3. Notice how little Caden is here too, about 16 months.

Second year, age 4

This past year, age 5
And we can’t leave out a photo of the little guy since he was in the first two with Finn and this was his first year to play ball.

Caden, first year age 3
Finn’s kindergarten teacher sent home a booklet the kids had worked on through the year called “Look how much I’ve grown” and it included a photo from the beginning of the school year and one from the end. The visible difference cracks me up. The booklet also had handwriting samples from through0ut the year so you could see their progress.

You can’t see his face well in the second one (he also grew quite independent in kindergarten and wasn’t very cooperative for that picture), but you can tell he’s taller just by comparing his height to the doorknob in each photo.
Note: I take the kids pictures on the porch in front of the door because that’s what my mom did with me. I recognize it’s not the most photogenic backdrop, but I like the tradition and being able to compare photos of us at the same ages and both standing on porches.
