SimplyBloom is Simply Beautiful

My sister-in-law’s friend recently got married and her wedding photos are just gorgeous!! It also helps that Karina is a beautiful girl, but the composition and the creativity in these photos is just amazing!! So, I have another wedding photographer to add to Blogs I Read.
SimplyBloom’s photos are so delicious they make me want to get married all over again!! Or maybe quit my job and be a wedding photographer. Their vision is so apparent, and they use very artistic settings, poses and photo effects. They do non-wedding portraits too; their baby portraits are just precious!

An entirely adequate welcome to “Entirely Adequate”
I’d like to welcome my fellow tech writing grad student, Suzanne, to Blogs I Read. Suzanne is a former newspaper gal, like myself. I don’t meet too many people in my everyday life who know what picas are and how to use them. (Pica, pronounced with a long ‘i’ and a hard ‘c,’ rhymes with the name Micah.)
I love what she has to say about naming her blog “Entirely Adequate”:
“Entirely adequate” was a common newsroom compliment during my copy-editing days.
If you don’t think it’s a compliment, then you’ve never worked at a newspaper.
It’s also a bit of a mantra: Most things in life turn out to be entirely adequate, and that isn’t the worst thing you can ask for.

Beautiful Photography
Do you have to know the happy couple to appreciate beautiful wedding photography? I stumbled upon this blog – Mike Brice Photography – of a professional photographer in Ohio who posts a few shots from the weddings (engagements, babies, etc.) that he photographs. He “combines a photojournalistic approach with the traditional posed shots to capture not only the images, but also the spirit of your wedding day.” His shots are just beautiful. I’ve also added a link to Gyminee’s blog. A friend from high school started Gyminee, and I’ve really liked some of their blog posts about fitness, nutrition, health, etc. Check them out too.
