Bullseye Cake Pops
One of my simple joys in life is a friend who knows me so well that when they see something out-and-about in real life they say “that is so Heather, I’ve just got to tell her.”
That was the case with these Target dog cake pops that CorrinMc emailed me about this week.

It’s no secret around here about my love of Target.
But knowing that I’d like love these actually goes a tad beyond the Target connection.
Because these are made by Bakerella, who I saw and met last year. So these have not just 1 Heatheriffic factor but 2!
My birthday is the end of this month, and some friends and I are celebrating this weekend by taking a painting class. These may just be the perfect birthday sweet for our little soiree.
Bakerella LIVE!
While in Atlanta a few weeks ago I saw and met (and had my picture made with!) the one and only, Bakerella. Famous for her cake pops, her new Cake Pops book features the “how-to” for 40 different fun cake pop designs.
It was a little bit of an impromptu trip. I had heard about the signing a while back and stuck it on my calendar just in case. I was in Birmingham Friday night anyway for a concert, the boys were at their grandmother’s, so I figured being half way there I might as well go ahead and go the rest of the way to Atlanta and go to the signing event.
Glad I did. Impromptu is fun and not something I indulge in often.
The Bakerella Proposal
Who doesn’t love a good love story, complete with sweet, romantic proposal of marriage and cake (well, a cake blog at least).

Here’s the proposal.
And here’s the back story.
