Because everyday needs a little beauty in it.
I love fresh flowers, of any kind — roses, daisies, lilies, any bloom. I’m not picky, although the more fragrant the better.
So this week at the grocery store I bought this bouquet. Yep. I bought flowers for myself, something I’ve been tempted to do on numerous occasions but could never justify the cost or the selfish gesture.
But that’s silly. They were less than $5 — cheaper than a lot of other retail therapies, I might add — and they’re a gorgeous reminder of the beauty God made for us to enjoy. They look beautiful on the kitchen table and make me smile.
